The 70 square meters apartment we are a fully independent unit in our ancestor's house which dates back to the first years of XX century.
It was completely renovated in 2016 offering our guests the comfort and quiteness of an apartment in a villa surrounded by a beautiful Italian style garden.
It is located in Mira, a nice little town on the Riviera del Brenta, Which is half way from the main towns of Venice and Padua. The Riviera is famous for its stunning villas of the past centuries all long the river Brenta (Andrea Palladio is among the world famous architects of These villas); they belonged and were used as summer retreat for most part of Venetian aristocrats and doges.
The apartment reserved for guests is 70 sqm wide at the ground floor; During Spring and Summer time you can relax and sunbathe in the big garden fully equipped with outdoor living furniture.
The interior is furnished with some antique furniture and contemporary style pieces, the walls are decorated with colorful art works. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen with oven, Smeg fridge, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, tea-kettle as well as all devices for your homemade meals. The large comfortable bedroom has a modern king size double bed with 2 windows overlooking the garden.
Embroidered bed linen, cushions with different softness, air condition and / or heating at your disposal.
The spacious open plan living room has TV and a sofa bed That can sleep other two persons. Its windows offer a beautiful view on the garden and the veranda.
The bathroom includes all toiletries, full set of towels and hair dryer. Washing machine available in the storage room close to the bathroom.
The veranda is truly a plus in every season. Enjoy it during Autumn or Winter staying out of the chilly weather in Spring and Summer to avoid the heat. A tent temp enhances the protection from sun rays enabling you to relax with a book or take an afternoon nap.
Pets are welcome upon request.
In 5 minutes you can reach the bus stop for Venice or Padua; (bus number 53E) Stop by the local tobacconist in the main "piazza" to the bus stop. The "square" offers you few restaurants, "trattoria or pizzeria" to enjoy some local dishes. Basic shops are at stone trow from the house (supermarkets, grocery, newspaper stand, pharmacy, bar, backery). A variety of fish or meat restaurants, shopping malls and other stores are located in the neighboring area.
Venice and Padua are about 30 minutes ride by bus while other lovely towns like Treviso, Vicenza and Verona are all about one hour drive by car or train.
Venice Marco Polo airport is about 30 minutes by car from the house.
Lovely sandy beaches of Jesolo, Chioggia or Sottomarina are only 30/40 minutes drive from the house.
Dolomites mountain villages like Cortina are nice and relaxing for lovers.

Summary: Fiorella is an excellent host. She met us at the apartment and showed where everything was and gave us lots of ideas of places to see when we were there. She has provided everything you could need for a comfortable relaxing stay. She gave us a bottle of Prosecco and a cake which made us feel very welcome. The apartment is very clean and beautifully furnished. The garden is spacious and furnished with garden furniture. Mira is a lovely location peaceful but with bars and restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance . We can’t wait to go back and will definitely stay in this apartment again in the future if it is available.

Summary: Hostess was fantastic with communication and answered all my questions. She met us at the place and gave us tips to local restaurants and how to obtain a bus ticket. Venice is a 30 min bus ride from the house. She even gave us complimentary champagne and cake. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!!

Summary: My wife and I stayed 5 nights in this house in Mira. It proved to be a great base for making day trips to Venice and Padua. Both these cities are assessed easily and cheaply via bus. A selection of restaurants and some small supermarkets are within walking distance. The house is well furnished and has a lovely kitchen. Also a little sunroom for relaxing. The owner provided lots of local information and some great suggestions on places to eat. We very much enjoyed our time in this charming property.

Summary: This was our third stop on our trip through Italy. We stayed here from September 20 - 26th and would have stayed longer if we could have. We loved the house, the area and we loved Fiorella who was delightfully charming, very welcoming and spoke excellent English. The home was quiet, clean, spacious, safe and equipped with all the necessities. We especially appreciated the spacious bedroom closet and beautiful period dresser so we could empty our suitcases. Parking was very convenient, too, right on the property within the gate or right in front. Also appreciated was a welcoming fresh fruit bowl, family made jam and Prosecco found in the refrigerator (a little birthday surprise for my husband.) The home is conveniently located near public transportation (because you really don’t want to drive to Venice), grocery stores, gelato stores, bakeries and trattorias. Air conditioning and heat are guest controlled. The outside property was inviting with lawn chairs and garden table with chairs for enjoying a meal outside or catching from sunshine. Everything outlined in the description and pictures is as stated. We were very comfortable. Although we were only 2 people, there is definitely room for a family of 4. Fiorella provided maps and recommendations for sights of interest within the little town. Although you could walked to the bus stop we drove for convenience. There is a free parking lot close to the bus stop and across from a great coffee bar with friendly staff where we stopped several times. Walking in the lovely little town we came upon an optical store where we met another local who was so friendly and accommodating with his wifi that I ended up buying a new pair of sunglasses (I couldn’t pass up the huge sale). Next door we couldn’t pass by the gelato store without getting a treat. Local trattorias provided delicious food. We also found a Chinese restaurant which provided a delicious change. We attended Sunday mass in the local church where we ran into Fiorella who was with her mother and graciously introduced us. Public bus transportation to Venice, about a 30 minute ride, was easy and convenient. We highly recommend this location if you want a local taste rather than being in the tourist area of Venice.

Summary: Firstly, even before renting the apartment Fiorella was very concerned and helpful answering every question immediatly we had for our trip to her house. We travelled as family with two small kids. The apartment is exactly as in the images, new and renovated. We could find everything for living and everything was clean. Furthermore, thr wifi connection was excellent for every need without restrictions. We extremely enjoyed the garden and the apartment. We travelled in vacations in almost only apartments for years and we are extremely pleased with this apartment. Fiorella was very concerned about our well being in the house for the whole stay. We changed our arrival and leaving times in short term and there was no problem to get in contact with Fiorella and furthermore she was so kind to accommodate with our times. The venetian area can be easily explored from the locations. The street is very quiet. The car is parked safely inside. We can warmly recommend the apartment for vacations! Summary: Great temporary home! I visit this are often for work and I stay in this residence and I have never been disappointed. Owners are very friendly and they make me feel like home. Great residential area, close to canal when you can walk and enjoy the views, close to bus stop (5 min walk, Fiorella will show you ) which can take you to Venice or to Padua. Excellent way to visit places if you do not need to worry about the parking. Driving around is not a problem either but ask owners for where to park they can give your directions on best places. Residence is like brand new, newly renovated period home , everything is clean, modern and functional. You can even cook there if you want. There is fridge, microwave, proper gas cooker with oven and dishwasher as well as all crockery, napkins, table cloths etc etc. I tell you it's like being home. Everything is there to make you feel at home. Beds are super comfortable and bedding is clean, and there are even embroidered cushion covers. You will not be disappointed Above all very friendly owners who go out of their way to make you comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.
