The Mini-Moose Cabin is a recently renovated/upgraded cabin which backs up to the Gallatin National Forest on a quiet dead-end street and only minutes from the West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. The neighborhood has a view of Lionshead Peak and the surrounding mountains of the Continental Divide. It has 750 sq ft of living space, including 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Laundry Closet with stacked washer/dryer, Large Open Family Room/Dining Room, Kitchen plus over 300 sq ft of covered side and front porches to enjoy the beautiful mountain views! This cabin is ideally suited to accommodate two adults with two to four children (Note: Groups including more than 2 adults require owner notification and approval prior to booking). Consistently rated favorably - e.g., "Great Cabin! The cabin was so cute, just the right size for us. It is decorated perfectly. The location is really close to the west entrance of Yellowstone, which was great!"
Decorated in a rustic mountain cabin theme with both new and antique furniture, fixtures and household items, the cabin features circle-sawn Douglas Fir flooring with knife-drawn edges, reclaimed barnwood wainscoting, knotty pine walls/and ceiling, wood burning stove, large windows throughout to enjoy the mountain and forest views, covered front and side porches, etc. And don't let the size fool you - this is a VERY comfortable open-spaced cabin with some of the best mountain views in the area!

Summary: Mini Moose cabin and its hosts, Laurie and Kevin exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The front porch has 2 big, comfortable chairs and a great view of the night sky. The location is convenient to Yellowstone, but far enough away from town to allow for really dark skies and natural surroundings. We especially enjoyed the cooler that we used every single day, allowing us to have food and drinks whenever we wanted while traveling through remote areas of the park and when we went riding off road on the National Forest trails. Last but not least we were so glad that we asked for and followed Kevin’s recommendations on how to make the most of our time in the area.

Summary: Fantastic from start to finish!! Communication was great with Kevin, the cabin was very clean and cozy! It is in a perfect location, away from hustle and bustle of Town, but close enough to make an easy drive to dinner and entrance to Yellowstone! We will be back to stay and maybe next time with the whole family in one of Kevin’s other larger properties

Summary: Mini Moose was just as advertised. Clean, rustic yet modern cozy cabin that was so nice to come back to after each day in Yellowstone. About 15 minutes from the west entrance and easy to find. Kevin and Laura were always a text away with any concerns and questions.

Summary: The Mini Moose cabin was just the perfect fit for our trip. The Cabin was quaint, cozy ( loved the wood floors and great kitchen). Cabin was stocked with everything you need.
