Positive: Fantastic location in Asakusa close to temple, markets and subway system. Room facilities spacious and clean. Didn’t really see reception staff as not based on ground floor but no issues for them to deal with as all was perfect.

Negative: All good.

Positive: Very close to transportation, shops,restaurant and easy to navigate with friendly staff and people who are willing to help you if you get lost.

Negative: Too crowded in Senso Ji temple and becomes tourist trap.

Positive: We had a great week stay here with 2 adults and 2 teens. The room was a good size, and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, and so close to several train lines. We found getting around Tokyo very very easy. Much quieter staying in Asakusa compared to Shinjuku. Very close to Sensoji Temple and markets.

Negative: Our only issue was with the hotel washing machines and dryers. Dryers seemed to be inconsistent, sometimes 1 cycle would completely dry all our clothes, other times we'd come back and our clothes were cold and damp like the cycle barely ran at all. At one point my husband came back 10mins late to check our clothes were dry (we were very good and set timers to return to check our clothes, which other hotel guests would leave their clothes sitting in the dryers for hours at a time) and couldn't find them anywhere. He eventually went to Reception who said they removed our clothes. When my husband asked why they did this, the staff member seemed to know less and less English - I assume she was trying to avoid confrontation. We never got an answer from her.

Summary: Great stay and location for families, but wash & dry your clothes elsewhere.

Positive: Great central location with a spacious studio. The rooms and hotel were clean, and comfortable. Literally steps away from Nakamise-Dori, and Senso-ji. FamilyMart, 711, and other Conbini/Groceries stores were steps away as well. Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Perfect for a family!

Negative: Some of the optional amenities were not available, such as rice cookers, umbrellas, etc. but did not impact our stay. Also, there is one small elevator for the whole building, so there was often a long wait for the elevator, but they had stairs if you didn’t want to wait, which helped.

Summary: Comfortable, centrally-located studio, steps away from Nakamise-Dori and Sensoji
