Positive: The property was well equipped and ideal for our group of 8 with all beds able to be made up as singles. The property is excellent value for money for large groups and the pub next door but one served great food with a warm friendly atmosphere. The scones on arrival were a nice touch.

Negative: The upstairs toilet was slow to flush. But there were two other WCs in the property.

Summary: We’ll equipped large house ideal for large families or groups.

Positive: Our stay at Millward House was exceptional. The hosts were friendly and quick in replying to messages. The property is located in a beautiful village in the Peak District. There was plenty of room for a family of 7. The facilities within the property made our stay very comfortable; there is a washer, dryer, large oven, dishwasher, baby facilities and two bathrooms. We will definitely be staying again!

Negative: My husband found the bed uncomfortable however he does suffer with a bad back so I feel this is his problem rather than the beds.

Positive: Wonderful house in a beautiful village. The beds/pillows are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious & stylish with lovely soft towels.The house was lovely & warm thanks to a hive heating system and log burner. The key safe is easy to use & we had a couple of messages from the owners who seem very friendly & helpful. We had read that the kitchen needs renovating, and we saw a comment from the owners in the visitors book which said they are hoping to do that next year, it will be amazing if they do, however we managed perfectly well with it as it is. We cooked both nights, and it is very well stocked with utensils, pans etc. The owners had left milk, cake & biscuits which was a very nice touch. The patio/garden is beautiful.

Negative: Not the fault of the owners, but it is such a shame that all of the pubs in the village have closed down.

Summary: A fantastic family break in a wonderful house!
