Summary: There are not enough words to describe this lovely part of France. We have been to France many times but this area is amazing. Mont Joie exceeded all expectations. A beautiful property set above the Dordogne where we were provided all amenities and more. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together. Martine is a joy, she helped us in so many ways! Summary: I was expecting a great house based on all of the other reviews, but even they did not do it justice. What a superb home, with a billion euro view! A true 500 year old house with 21st century comforts. Thank you Vincent for sharing Mont Joie. And thank you Martine for all you do. We are sure to return to this wonderful area and house!

Summary: We had a fantastic time at Mont Joie! The view from the living room is spectacular, and the village is beautiful. We found the kitchen well stocked and easy to use. The bedrooms were perfect, and drinking wine on the balcony as we watched the sunset was a delight. Martine is a treasure! She was kind and helpful and full of good humor. Mont Joie is a perfect base from which to explore enjoy the Perigord. A big thank you to Vincent! We especially appreciated your detailed instructions about arrival, parking, local shops, and a user's guide to the house itself. Your suggestions about markets, restaurants, and excursions were all excellent. We recommend staying at Mont Joie enthusiastically and unreservedly! Stay for at least a week!

Summary: My families third visit to Beynac et Cazenac and first visit to Vincent's home. The home is just as pictured. Great dining room with incredible views, plus lower patio with chairs/table for 4 and bbq and two loungers, plus lower/lower level with outdoor space. Super fun home and so much love was put into it. Vincent is extremely responsive and Marine will meet you to show you the home and get you settled. We truly enjoyed the home and having Martine available if needed was an added benefit. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that does not have issues with climbing stairs. Excellent all around.

Summary: Amazing house with incredible views. We felt so welcomed and Martine who managed our stay was wonderful and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here with our friends and walked up to the chateau, which was quite a steep climb but well worth it. A must is a meal at the restaurant called Le Petitie Tonnelle - and Andrea was the perfect hostess. We loved the food and the atmosphere so much we ate here twice! Beautiful surroundings and I would recommend this amazing medieval house. Very clean and it has everything you would possible need.

Summary: We have traveled all over the world, and this villa in the French countryside nestled on a mountainside village over the Dordogne River is truly one of the most incredible stays we’ve ever experienced! The stunning views of the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes were nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to hot air balloons floating by in the early morning was a real spectacle, adding magic to every day. The villa itself is a perfect blend of ancient charm and modern comfort. Its spacious rooms and beautiful décor instantly made us feel at home. Old world with updated amenities to the mediaeval charm, enhanced the experience while maintaining the villa’s historic character. Nestled on the mountainside just below the rebuilt Château de Beynac, this location offers stunning vistas, but be prepared for a hike up and down the charming cobblestone streets—good walking or hiking shoes with good traction are a must! The private pool was a real treat, offering us a peaceful retreat to cool off and relax in the warm afternoons. And for those who love a bit of adventure, we even took up the challenge of driving up the very narrow street to park in the dedicated spot across from the villa. Not for the faint of heart, but absolutely worth it! This was a truly unforgettable experience, and we are already dreaming of our next visit- thank you Vincent for all your help! We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a magical escape in the heart of France.

Summary: The house was tastefully decorated and well equipped. Located in the village while very private, with a pool and beautiful views of the river. The street is extremely charmy with the roads and houses in the same stone, looking as a picture from a very french village movie. There are a few shops walking distance with everything you need as well as restaurants and coffee/ice cream/sandwiches shops. It is a great location to visit the region. An absolute jewel.
