Positive: A large, comfortable holiday home that is very tastefully furnished. It was wonderfully warm and everything we needed for the kitchen was there, including a washing machine and dishwasher. The nearest small shop is 11 miles away and it takes about half an hour to get there on the single track road. You have to know and like that. We knew and liked it and felt very comfortable and would like to thank the very nice hosts very much!

Positive: Wonderful quiet and remote location to get away from it all. Just a few minutes walk from the sea! The steading was decorated for Christmas for us, and fresh bread provided. Plenty of room, and well equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen.

Negative: This is a very remote stay, with a long drive down single track roads and no local amenities, it won't be for everyone!

Positive: The surroundings were amazing with great walks and scenery. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you needed. We were advised by the owners to bring our own groceries, kitchen roll, just general provisions as the property is 12 miles from the nearest store. There was some tea and coffee and a super loaf of freshly baked bread. The lounge upstairs was nice with plenty of seating. The double bed was very comfortable.

Negative: I wish I had looked at Google maps satellite view because then I would have seen that the property was in fact set behind the owners house and did not have the uninterrupted view of the water that the pictures on Booking.com portray. Also, the shower was and underpowered electric shower which was so weak that I was unable to wash my hair or even feel particularly clean as to increase the heat in the electric shower, decreased the water flow so much that it was just not fit for purpose. The last moan that we have is that the towels were extremely small bath towels rather than a bath sheet.
