Positive: It’s old but clean. It’s a little hotel at a non busy street. You would need to take a cab to get to the old city area.

Negative: The room smelled musty and the hallway smells like smoke. There no stores open past 10pm around here except for one circle K market.

Positive: Breakfast was served from 6-10, so you have a large window to play with. We checked out at 5 on our departure day and the staff packed a lunch for us. The hotel has elegant design touches that allow for a relaxing space.

Negative: Some of the 'old building' issues come through: weak water pressure and only a few outlets in each room. The locations is decent, depending on what you like. The hotel is not in a tourist area, so you don't get pestered by touts. This is real Hanoi, which we liked a lot.

Positive: I could checked-in the middle of the night. The bed was large and comfortable. Small but good breakfast options. Location is central, but not in the chaos of Hanoi.

Negative: -Unfortunately our room on the 5th floor was really smelly (!!) and the pressure of the shower was very low made it hard to enjoy our stay -they were understaffed at breakfast time. -two of our family had the chance to get their room earlier than 2pm without any additional costs.. if they cancel their booking via booking.com and book directly via the hotel. Very strange and too complicated, when it could have been easier just to give them the keys because they offered it anyway!

Positive: I would really like to thank the hotel staff for all their assistance during our stay and also their flexibility to help us with everything we requested. The hotel location is ideal - close to the old city and all city attractions but not inside the chaos of the smaller alleys. The room was nice and comfortable. And above all clean!
