Positive: Location was excellent. If you want a cosy cottage in the heart of Cropton forest, Middlehead Cottages is the place for you. You don't have to jump in the car for walks, they're on the doorstep. Hot tub was amazing after long walks. Enclosed garden with access to the pond area, so great for dogs. Host's were very accommodating and the cottage itself had everything you needed. WiFi worked a treat if you need it

Negative: It's not a negative at all, but be prepared to use the car for pubs and shops.

Positive: Beautiful cottages, lovely touches and a great space for families. In Willows End the large cooker was great and made catering much easier. Brilliant bathroom to room ratio! The photos don’t do it justice, lovely quiet location and the hot tub was a bonus. The hosts were always on hand if we needed anything. We would 100% recommend!

Positive: Our third visit. Hosts are always so friendly and welcoming. Cottage has all you need. So relaxing to unwind in the hot tub after a long walk with the dogs in the forest.

Positive: We were stunned at how perfect the place was. The huts are so well done, clean, comfortable, private and just gorgeous. The hosts were so lovely and really have done so well creating such a beautiful set up. We are so excited to return!!!

Negative: Nothing to not like. Apart from not being able to stay longer.

Positive: Property is private and secluded. Hot tub excellent. Very quiet at any time of day. Great selection of reading material, DVD's, games in the room, kitchen had everything we needed. Very spacious.

Negative: Outside chairs would have been more comfortable with cushions. The backs of the chair are uncomfortable on your back
