Summary: Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was not as marketed. The luxury room was supposed to have a sofa - we were informed that two of these "luxury" rooms did not have a sofa. Bath was tiny, which begs the question of what made this room any different than a regular room except us paying an additional $30/night.. Lobby was nice place to sit. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat there. AC was temperamental but functioned.

Summary: My first room was in the Annex, and it smelled damp and moldy. I requested a room change and the gentleman in the front desk could not have been kinder or more obliging. He helped me take my baggage to the new room, which was lovely. He was friendly and took a personal interest in making me feel like a welcome guest.

Summary: This quaint old inn has a main building, where I stayed, and two modern buildings behind it. The restaurant on the first floor was great for dinner, especially on the front veranda. This was classic old-school with stately chair and decorum. I loved the bathtub and the bed. The desk and separate chair were well-placed, Glad for the experience.

Summary: The historic inn was charming and the staff was very professional and attentive. We did not have time to use any available services or the restaurant, but we enjoyed the use of the bathrobes and extra hygeine items in the room. We also enjoyed the historic decor, but we were disappointed that modern amenities were unavailable (including a fridge and microwave), the room was a tad small, and the tv was poorly located in one corner of the room.

Summary: My comment is specific. I lost a pair of sunglasses and inquired at the reception desk whether a pair had been found. The person at reception said something like "no, not since I've been at the desk". But what about during the prior shift? She couldn't be bothered to get up out of her chair to look. Perhaps I lost my sunglasses elsewhere, but I would have liked this person to at least pretended to care and to look to see if my sunglasses had been returned.

Summary: Everything was clean and the ambiance of the old building was wonderful. Our air conditioner had trouble keeping up in the 90+ degree heat, but that was the only complaint.

Summary: This is without a doubt nicest hotel I have stayed in the last 2 years. The person at the front desk remembered my phone call and made sure I was booked on the first floor. The room could not have been more comfortable. One area of importance to me is the desk area, which was spacious, plenty of plugs. I use a CPAP and there were plugs available next to the bed without moving anything, well thought out. I stayed one night and would absolutely book here again if in the area. Well done

Summary: Lovely staff. Room is antiquated but very nice and clean. You must walk up a steep flight of stairs to the level for rooms. The restaurant is on the main level and was very nice. Location in the center of town is perfect for wandering around.
