Summary: STAYING AT MICHILLINDA IS PARADISE! TO HEAR THE LAPPING OF THE WAVES OF LAKE MICHIGAN AND THE WIND WHISTLING THROUGH THE TREES IS SO ZEN AND SO DELIGHTFUL!!! ALMOST EVERY UNIT HAS A DIRECT VIEW OF AND/OR OVERLOOKS THE LAKE. THERE ARE CHARMING ACCOMMODATIONS WITH MANY DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS! THE STAFF IS FABULOUS ~ EXTREMELY COMPETENT AND SO HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, & PLEASANT. THE GROUNDS ARE TENDERLY TENDED TO UTMOST PERFECTION; OFFERING MANY VARIETIES OF SENTINEL TREES, FLOWERING BUSHES, SHRUBS, AND FLOWERS! A TRUE OASIS. HARD TO LEAVE!

Summary: This property far exceeded my expectations, it has beautiful views, a small swimming beach, sand dunes for viewing, a clean pool, sitting areas with lake views, and overall spacious. Can’t wait to stay again!

Summary: This place is not a 5-star upscale hotel. But, if you have found this place, then you know that is not what you are looking for! We stayed in Annex 29 which is on the 3rd floor of the Annex building. They do not have an elevator so be prepared for the stairs. The one attached picture was the view out of our larger room. That is why you are staying here! Also, there were no TVs inside our suite. Just the more reason to go outside! (I do not know if the cabins had TVs or not.) If you opt for the individual cabins, it did not look like you would have to deal with stairs at all. The other picture was from their deck at sunset. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The entry road is lined with tall trees and just sets the mood. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They have plenty of outdoor activities along with an outdoor pool.

Summary: What an awesome location! Beautiful views just steps away from our room! We stayed in the chalet- it was quiet & comfy. Plenty of space for 4 adults + 2 teens. One bed was not so comfy- sank right in. 2 small bathrooms, 2 small coffee pots (w/ coffee/cups/creamer provided), & 2 little fridges. Outdoor steps had a couple areas that looked like they needed some attention soon. Staff was great. Super easy checkin/out. They have so many things to do- tennis, pool, playground, volleyball, basketball, etc. Charcoal grills available & 1st floor of chalet is a public kitchen & gaming area open on weekends. It is very noisy upstairs in the chalet when people are coming/going or playing pool. Wood fire pizza guy comes on Wed. $12 for a pizza. There was also a cornhole tourn. We walked over to nearby Duck market a lot thru a little path in the woods. They have about anything you’d need plus hot foods (chili dog, walking taco, breakfast sandwiches), & ice cream! There is a great deck overlooking water/sunset. Very peaceful & amazing sunsets! There was a small beach area now since water levels are currently low but it’s kinda rocky. I highly recommend nearby Duck Lake park! Met some other guests who have been coming back to stay every year for 20+ years! Can’t wait to go back!!
