Summary: Very old fashioned and rooms needed updating also very very noisy and didn’t feel secure in our room. There was loads of people letting themselves in the doorway outside our room and playing the piano at 2 in the morning not good after a long flight

Summary: Our stay at Miami River Inn was extremely disappointing. Communication was nearly impossible—there are multiple phone numbers listed, yet none connect to a real person. We left multiple voicemails and never received a call back. The listing states that the rooms have air conditioning, but there was no AC in our room. On top of that, the overhead light and ceiling fan didn’t work at all. The bathroom was so small that only one person could fit inside at a time. The curtains provided zero light blocking; the parking lot lights were so bright that I could have easily read a book at night. Sleep was nearly impossible. The bed itself felt like sleeping on the floor, and the bed frame was very creaky. To make matters worse, the staff we did interact with were less than friendly and not helpful. Overall, the property did not match its description, basic amenities were missing or broken, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. I would not recommend staying here. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because it was at least clean.

Summary: Staff was really friendly at the hotel - restaurant staff was polite . The grounds of the hotel are awesome very unique experience . The rooms have a bit of deferred maintenance with peeling paint, dirty walls etc. once maintenance gets a handle on that, the place will be stellar.

Summary: Nice place, close to down town mall, within walking distance to target, Ross, and the Mall. Would definitely recommend! We will be back to stay here again.

Summary: Firstly to be fair to them we arrived on New Year’s Eve and the problems we experienced may have been exacerbated by the timing and the shortage of staffa. We were there for 3 nights and for the first 2 days we had no working shower. It was unusually cold in Miami and we asked for extra blankets. We finally got some for the final night. The worst aspect of the hotel was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and kept breaking because the slats were not secured. You don’t expect to keep having to get up in the middle of the night to repair your bed. It’s also far from any eating places.

Summary: This hotel is adorable. I reserved a room, but was upgraded to an “apartment”. It’s kitschy and bohemian. The restaurant/ bar was such a lovely environment with palm trees and plants. Staff was friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend The Miami River Inn for an off the beaten path, relaxing Miami experience ❤️
