Positive: The cottage is set in a beautiful location in a pine forest. There is a private little pier about 10 minute walk away. You can fish from it or swim. There's is a place to make bonfire and wood provided. Loads of little squirrels running about and variety of birds to watch. We saw cranes in a field when walking. The terrace outside the house has a great big table and benches to sit around. There's a hammock in a stand and three sun loungers to use.

Negative: Just things to be mindful of, not necessarily bad depends what kind of holiday you are after: the kitchen area is small and there's no oven, just two electric plates to cook on and outside grill/bbq. You have to drive to a shop or a restaurant, there's nothing around apart from other holiday cottages. Very bad phone reception and WiFi almost not existent so no watching Netflix etc. Worth knowing that the two bedrooms are up steep stairs and bathroom downstairs. My mum slept on a sofa downstairs as she has back problems and was afraid to climb up and down. If you're aware of these things and they don't bother you, you'll have a great time.
