Summary: Very interesting house with a lot of character. We had 11 adults stay here and all were very comfortable. The backyard is the highlight of the location. The hosts were very responsive, and we all enjoyed the stay. I would say 12 adults is max with lots of extra capacity if you have children with the adults. The refrigerator is a bit small for a house that holds so many people but was not an issue for us as we were gone most of the time. I would also make sure your friends/family can handle stairs as there is only one bedroom on the main level. (A beautiful big bedroom!) I definitely recommend the property if you are in the area.

Summary: The house was beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Julie made sure there were extra beds in all the rooms. The kids loved the pool. The adults loved the outdoor sitting area. We made breakfasts and dinners at the house. We got to enjoy our time together. We watched a movie on the big screen. It was a hot weekend so a few of the rooms were warm but we had fans and were able to cope. Julie was very communicative before the visit to make sure we had everything we needed. The pantries were stocked. We were so fortunate to have extra items available for cooking. We have not experienced that at other houses we've stayed. The location was on the street curve which was a bit strange but plenty of room for our 4 cars in the driveway. We went to a strawberry festival nearby.

Summary: This was the perfect spot for our family who came in from all corners of the country. The pool and back yard had something for everyone and plenty of seating to eat, chat, and play games. Lots to do around the area too. Hope we can come back again.

Summary: This property is AMAZING and absolutely perfect for a large group. My three sisters, our husbands and our parents all gathered here to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday. So much space to hang out together and still have privacy when needed. Outdoor space is amazing, while it was still a bit chilly during our stay, we were able to sit out in the sun and enjoy the large outdoor area. The large dining table allowed all 10 of us to sit and have coffee in the morning and play games in the evening. The kitchen is the BEST stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in (and my husband and I travel A LOT). The decor is amazing all over the huge house and there are so many great areas for kids if you have them traveling with you. We did not on this trip, but this property would be PERFECT for us to all gather again and bring the kids and grands - we were making plans to do that BEFORE we left the property! The location is amazing - just a short walk to all downtown Fortville has to offer - we had dinner one night at the Mexican restaurant on Main Street - great margaritas, food, and service. Dad's birthday dinner was at Cortona's (a family favorite), and they were magnificent as always. We had lunch at Du Lit (recommended by our host, Julie), and it was fantastic and, on our walk back to the house, we stopped at another favorite, The Foxgardin for a drink. Julie is an amazing host. Communication was great! and kindly left a birthday gift for Dad! Thank you, Julie!

Summary: We were coming to the Indy area for the FFA National Convention. Julie was an amazing host and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She tailored the house to exactly like we needed it and even gave us options for around town. She was extremely responsive and I am so honored that we got to be her first stay. We felt so welcomed with a note and a basket full of items for our students. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
