Positive: Hands down our best accomodation so far. Incredibly grateful for this slice of heaven amongst the chaos of our trip. This little cottage was very homely and had everything we desperately needed for our stay in Taupo. As I’m from a small town in Australia and grew up in a cottage very similar to this one I spent my time reminiscing,and it brought back some very fond memories of my childhood and made me and my partner feel very at home. If anyone is thinking of booking this accomodation I highly recommend it as it’s purely a home away from home.

Negative: The only thing I would suggest for the main bedroom is having a pedestal fan or ceiling fan to help circulate the air better. Also saves having to run the air conditioning flat out. Perhaps even changing the door hinges to the other side so that the door can swing open to the other side and not swing into the bed. Also I think the extraction fan in the bathroom may be wired up wrong or installed wrong as it blows air into the bathroom rather than taking the steam from bathroom and blowing it outside. Other than that, our stay was perfect!
