Positive: What a little dream. We loved it so much we cancelled our other accommodation and came back here for our last night. It's cosy, near the most beautiful beach and Marlin is the most wonderful host. Our friends left sunglasses in their room and Marlin jumped on a scooter and came to meet us en route to the airport. Above and beyond.

Positive: The cottage itself is nice and comfortable to stay in. The owner and her staff are very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated.
Negative: The place looks quite different in reality than in the photos. During my stay, no tips or suggestions were provided at all, especially when the weather was bad. As a result, when it rained, I was completely limited to staying in our cottage, with no alternative activities or guidance offered. The fruit at breakfast, such as papaya and melon, was unfortunately did not taste good. Overall the experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not book this place again.

Negative: Cottage can be cleaned much better. Water was something not running.

Positive: Merlin the owner of the hotel is amazing. When we arrived we got the option to change to Noels Cottage for some extra money, which we did, so this review is for Noels Cottage which belongs to the same family. First at all the location is amazing. Directly at the beach. The room is comfortable. The only thing which was terrible were the thick pillows, but when I asked for a different pair, they got replaced in an instant and they were perfect. Loved the little pool outside of the room, which was filled with water then we arrived. There was free water, tea and coffee. We booked all our tours through Merlin who helped us amazingly! The tours were amazing and the only regret I had was not having more time. We already said that we must return! For your awareness there are currently 2 restaurants in the area. Ten Cafe and Viera. We liked both of them, they had some amazing food, but be aware that you only get Indonesian food. At Ten Cafe a must try is Sea Grapes... Simply amazing! Thanks so much for Marlin for an amazing stay!
Negative: As an improvement I would suggest maybe two different sets of pillows in the room. Also it would be great to have shade in front of the bungalow. Sometimes I just craved to sit in the shade during the afternoon when we were back from our trips.

Positive: Breakfast was great, made fresh just for us. The owner was very, VERY helpful explaning where the best places to go are. Google maps doesn't know all the roads in the island.
Negative: Mercy cottages is not to blame of course, but the amount of plastic rubbish on the beaches around the island is embarrassing.

This cottage, simple yet extremely welcoming, won us over with its family atmosphere and the extraordinary helpfulness of its staff. A special thanks goes to Marlene, the host, who proved to be a real guide for us. Her valuable advices and detailed informations about the island allowed us to discover hidden corners and have authentic experiences during our three-days stay. Always ready to answer to all our questions via WhatsApp. Thanks to her, we were able to fully appreciate the beauty of the island. Kudos also to Elise, who took care of us with care and kindness. Her attention to detail, both in the cleanliness of the room and in the preparation of the delicious breakfasts, made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! The air cond in the room was very silent and efficient: not common in the area.

Positive: Very nice place and kind people! Living in the island sometimes means even share the room with insects, but the room was clean and very confy! The personal little swimming pool is amazing! The staff is super lovely and always ready to help or give suggests! Next time I come without my girlfriend and I marry you all...
