Positive: The staff were very helpful and accessible during day and night .

Negative: Nothing everything was as you would expect , clean comfortable and warm .

Positive: This was our first time staying - and we loved it! Great parking at Friars Walk - cost us less than £10 to park overnight - bargain! 5 minute walk to the hotel. As we arrived, the check in desk was swamped with a huge group of people checking in - didn't matter - took 5 mins to check in - staff were delightful. We were offered the chance to upgrade our room - which we did. We paid an extra £10 and ended up with a suite! Fabulous room - huge! Great views! Great facilities! Huuuuge bed - so comfortable! The hotel was a 10 min walk from The Corn Exchange which is where we were heading. We didn't explore any more of Newport - but it looked like it would be easy to do from where we were. We'll have to save that for next time!

Negative: The only thing was that I was woken up by what sounded like someone's phone vibrating. It wasn't one of ours - and we couldn't work out what the noise was or where it was coming from! It woke me up at 3.45am - took me ages to nod back off - and it was still going in the morning! That was a bit annoying!
