Positive: Overall, I had a positive experience and was pleased with both the hotel and its staff.

Negative: The breakfast did not meet expectations—the fruit lacked flavor, and the staff were not very friendly. I don’t recommend to pay extra to have breakfast in hotel.

Positive: I stayed in a Mercure a few days earlier and was so impressed I booked with them again. I was not disappointed. The staff on the front desk were very attentive and friendly. Providing directions, suggesting places to visit and clearly explaining the underground parking. The room was clean, and again, the bed was very comfortable. I slept well. There was a little noise from the corridor, but nothing serious. There windows looked out over towards the west. I am sure some people like a bath, I am not one of those, so it meant a shower in the bath. It was perfectly good, just note you may need to climb into it. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the tram at the bottom of the road. The tram will then take you directly to the ferry port at Cacilhas. The ferry heads over to Cais do Sodré and takes roughly 10 -15 minutes and you are on the streets of Lisbon itself. Probably best to take the tram back and forth than walk from the ferry terminal. There are enough hills in Lisboa and the streets are very quiet residential areas. It's less than €2 to travel. They are very frequent too. We chose this hotel because of the parking, easy location from the motorway and no hassles with traffic and city driving. Perfect if you don't mind a little walk now and again. Check out was again very easy, with the reception staff super friendly and interested. Thanks.

Negative: I am not a fan of baths, so I would have preferred a walk in shower, instead of a shower in a bath, but it's not a complaint as such, more of a want. I do think the windows could be cleaned. They were pretty dirty on the outside.
