Positive: The house was built a some time ago, but it was completely renovated and adapted to all our needs during our stay. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is fully air-conditioned, and the whole house is very, very elegant. The hosts are friendly and at service for everyone. We had a good feeling the whole time.

Positive: We were absolutely thrilled with our stay here. The hosts were extremely welcoming and hospitable, they made us feel so comfortable. As a large family, there was everything we could possibly need there. They had so many sitting areas, a beautiful garden and terraces, the rooms were large and the bathrooms were fantastic. It was really handy that there was aircon in every room, as well as a small fridge in each room. The beach across the road was so lovely! We can not wait to return. Watching the sunrise every morning from the terrace was a moment of pure bliss. We were a family of 7, including 4 children, and the house couldn’t have been more perfect for our group. Spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, it allowed everyone to enjoy their time together without ever feeling crowded. The kids had plenty of room to play, while the adults could unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. The house itself is in immaculate condition – beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every possible comfort. You can tell that every detail has been carefully thought through, from the cozy interiors to the modern appliances and thoughtful touches throughout. It truly felt like a home away from home. The outdoor space is just as impressive: spacious, tranquil, and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or enjoying a meal under the stars. We spent hours lounging outside, soaking up the sun and taking in the stunning surroundings. The garden is lush and perfectly kept – you can tell it’s lovingly cared for. Positive: We were a group of four couples and so the bedrooms all with en-suite was perfect for us. Lovely huge villa with amazing aircon that silently kept the inside cool, but allowed every room to be individually controlled. Big kitchen with everything we needed esp two fridges! Superb lounge/diner that we spent a lot of time in the evenings as too hot outside! The pool, although small, was lovely to cool down - and got some shade after 5pm. There was a bbq which we used twice, but it was a bit rustic and only had a smallish table (for 8) adjacent (another larger table was being painted!). There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and we enjoyed 1954 in Melissi.

Negative: The grounds were a bit unkempt and extremely hot with no breeze and not a lot of shade. It seemed 4 loungers had recently been purchased - without these there would have been no comfortable outside seating at all (though lots of metal chairs). A handy man appeared several times and did some painting and other jobs, but we were not warned about him. The owner asked us to pay 70 euros tourist tax in cash - it would have been better to have specified this in advance (or better still, include it in the rental price).

Positive: The house is newly renovated so everything is fresh, no damages. Considering the history of property (back to 18 century) I was impressed the owner kept original furniture and renovated it to the perfect condition. Five rooms with five bathrooms + double beds are extremely convenient for a big company. The modern conditioning system and solar panels also the advantage. The kitchen is more than fully equipped. Though you don’t really need it having a huge range of delicious restaurants around. Overall the house is huge. Wifi is good in all rooms. There is no TV but many board games provided. There is a huge private territory to walk around with a private olive plantation and mandarin trees. If you catch the season you can pick fresh fruits by yourself (like we did in late December). The sea view is a headliner of the villa. There is a small (not private) beach in a 2 minutes walk. The location is very convenient for exploring! we traveled every day around by car during one week stay. The owner Dimitris is the friendliest host we’ve met. He provided us 24/7 support, many local recommendations, brought us things we needed (as living nearby) and taught us a lot about Greece. He speaks many languages. Our small dog also loved to play with his two Irish Setters. If you have any doubts, just don’t think and give it a try. I would love to go to this place again.

Summary: The best rental experience in my life. The high hotel quality amenities doubled with unique local immersion.
