Positive: It was located near beautiful Inya Lake next to Myanmar plaza. The staff especially manager Oscar and Nandar were very helpful throughout my stay twice at Melia.

Negative: Nil.

Summary: It gives me the comfort, great view surrounded by helpful staff and amazing foods.

Positive: Great views, nice service for Level guests, staff is very friendly and pays attention to details. Breakfast includes diverse foods. Many restaurants around and the area itself feels safe, quiet.

Negative: 1. SPA services are very overpriced and nobody uses then, even with a 25% discount for guests it’s $75 for a 2-hour Thai massage 2. Laundry service is not fast, if you ask for laundry after 10 AM you’ll only get your clothes next day afternoon, could be faster I faced the same issues in other Yangon hotels too, so unfortunately I think it’s a common problem. If SPA prices would be more reasonable, at least $40 for 2-hour massage, me and other guests would love to spend some money there!

Positive: First thank you Ms. Nandar and Mr. Oscar at the reception - very professional, welcoming and the best of the best in their work. Melia Yangon is lucky to have them both! The Breakfast at the Hotel was nice with plenty of selections!
