Positive: Amazing views of the Bavi park, with the setting the resort facilities blending well into the environment.

Negative: The food options were a mix between traditional Vietnamese and European food and were both slightly underwhelming apart from the Vietnamese Hotpot.

Positive: We loved the location and the feeling of being in the middle of a forest. The swimming pool was delightful! Tony at the front desk was very nice.

Negative: The pool bar service hours were very odd. They stopped serving at 5:30pm which was a big drawback to enjoy the pool with a drink. It was a very special occasion because of our anniversary and even though we let the staff know in advance, we did not feel they cared at all. We've stayed at much humbler hotels and they always went the extra mile for our special occasion and Melia felt extremely short. It was quite disappointing. We wanted to go hiking nearby and we were never told there was actually a nice trek within the premises of the hotel. They only mentioned the 30 minute free tour with very inconvenient timings. If we knew there was a possibility to do it on foot, we would have loved to. All in all, communication and service were not outstanding. We had to ask for everything or feel very clueless as many of the most important items of information were left out of the hotel introduction. Even for dinner we had to request to have our table prepared outside and after we did, many people also chose to sit outside because it was just beautiful to sit outside in nature compared to the cold ambiance of the Senses restaurant inside with way too high air conditioning. Big Thanks to Ton who was so accommodating to our request to have the table set outside.

Positive: Amazing setting, beautiful pool and gym overlooking the trees. Rooms were large and comfortable and the buggy tour to the ruins was a fun addition!

Negative: You have to eat at the hotel restaurant but they did not tell us we needed to book a table and the restaurant staff seemed a little overwhelmed by having a full restaurant.

Positive: We had a very relaxing stay with our 1.5 years toddler. It's a perfect get away from the city in a very beautiful and relaxing area. The staff did their best to accommodate our needs. Great activities for kids, and amazing climatized pool. Good variety of food at breakfast and restaurants.

Negative: Food is a bit overpriced. Would be great if you could add more books for little kids in English.
