Positive: Beautiful people and property.

Negative: Heat didn’t seem to work too well. We had to leave at 7:30 am and breakfast was included but the cook don’t arrive until 9 so we had to leave without breakfast.

Positive: The location was really good, within 10 min walk to the blue gate and was close to many food shops. Breakfast was home-made and delicious! We had it at the terrace which has a beautiful panoramic view of the old medina. The riad is clean, historic and well-decorated, and the property manager was very kind and helpful!

Positive: The location is very centered in the Medina, easy to access. The people; Hicham, Said but also the breakfast crew led by Najia were outstandinf. Hicham and Said were always available to facilitate transfert and any other request, resulting in a very pleasant stay.

Negative: The little street where the riad is placed is smelly and dirty, but this is not a major issue. The upper terrasse with the amazing view could be secured but it is easy to ensure little children to stay on the lower terrasse l, then minor issue.

Negative: Negative experience. The place was extremely dirty: hair in the bathroom, hair in the shower and even in the bed, spit in the sink, dirty cutlery, and food that was overly greasy. There was no proper check-in — no one was there, I had to knock, and some people followed me asking for money. On the last night, the owner, in an insistent and intimidating manner, asked me to give him a 10-star review. The Wi-Fi was terrible.

Positive: The host Hicham & Badar's hospitality were amazing. We felt really taken care of. Hicham was waiting for us at the door to make sure we found the correct Riad. He personally greeted us. Badar was kindly made us nice breakfast and prepared take-away breakfast for our early departure. The aircon was working well. I liked the cute moroccan style furniture and clean linen. The riad is just slightly off the main road of medina. Hence, it's easy access to where the action is. Yet still quiet and calm. There were a few landmarks to find the riad.(E.g. turn at the blue door) so it's not difficult to find the riad. We are really glad that we chose here. So we could have very warm and authentic riad experience in Fes. We are bringing back good memories with us. Thanks Hicham & Bardar 🙏

Positive: The staff were very attentive. The host, Ibrahim was most helpful. Nothing was too much. Packed us breakfast when we had to leave early and took us to the taxi stand.

Negative: The way in, is difficult to get to. It needs to be better sign posted and the way needs to be better lit.
