Positive: This riad is freshly renovated and in superb condition. The entrance opens onto a beautiful lounge area with a lovely pool. Ibrahim greeted us, with a porter, at the carpark outside the medina walls and escorted us to the riad. He said for us to consider Diamant Bleu as our home for the next few days, and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The location is superb. It's close to all the action of the ancient city, yet serene and calm once you step inside and off the street. There is a rooftop terrace with views over most of the old city. Would definitely stay here again.

Negative: Can't findmuch to complain about. Any minor concerns were dealt with as soon as we raised them.

Summary: Fez and our accommodation at Diamant Bleu were a highlight of our whole Morocco trip.

Positive: I must say, our host Ibrahim is the nicest, friendliest and caring man I know. I’ve never experienced such hospitality in my life. Ibrahim helped with everything - showing us the best restaurants/spots in Fes, calling up drivers to help us coordinate with them and even providing a packed breakfast if we were leaving very early in the morning. We actually felt like family there. So to sum up, the riad was beautiful, but what made the trip was the staff.

Positive: Ibrahim, the manager, helped us a lot to make the best out of our stay. He is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a very warm welcome every time we came back from outside. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent and our room was very quiet. The Riad is conveniently located within the Medina (Ibrahim makes sure that you find your way) and you can walk everywhere from there.

Positive: We had a magical experience at this Riad. Not in the glitzy Instagram-like way, but genuine human magic that doesn't translate well to images or words. I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Ibrahim, Faisa and Rachid, they are spectacular human beings. All I will say is that our 3 year old daughter throughout the rest of the trip kept saying "I want to go back to Fez", entirely due to how those 3 interacted with her and made us feel like we were home. Stay here if you want to feel like you are staying in your good family friend's home.
