Positive: The location of the house in Meads was perfect for us: a quiet, leafy area of Eastbourne, within easy walking distance of shops, pubs, the seafront and the town and station, to which there were also good bus connections. Above all, it was only a stone‘s throw from the start of the South Downs Way, with wonderful coastal walks to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. The house was very clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated, with a nice little patio and garden. We felt very at home there.

Negative: We found it a bit tricky turning the heating on at first, but managed after following the trouble-shooting instructions provided. A point that perhaps should be mentioned explicitly in the description of the property is that it might not be suitable for (older) people who have problems climbing stairs, particularly as there is no toilet downstairs. It was fine for us, though.
