Positive: It’s hard to mention ALL the great things about this place! The VIEW was twelve stars out of ten! The view of the ocean from the deck and from the living room and kitchen is just spectacular! I loved being able to hear the waves lapping the shore from the house. The moonlight on the ocean at night was beautiful. I loved having the Weber! We brought our own charcoal and grilled three times. The beautiful kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans, measuring cups, coffee maker, toaster, and blender, spices, cooking spray, hot sauce selections, flour, and more essentials. Host provided some extra and unexpected amenities like local organic coffee, half & half, cocoa, and chocolate chip cookies! Bathrooms are beautifully appointed! Towels are spectacularly thick and luxurious. I truly appreciated the heat level of the water temperature! I loved all the plants inside the house! Lots of rental places skip that particular nicety, and it really adds to the feeling of being at home. We did not use the wood pellet stove inside or the gas fireplace outside, but they are marked with very clear directions on how to use them if wanted. I loved most of the collection of art. There are some beautiful pieces of furniture. The floors are beautiful and easy to keep clean, but they get COLD on the feet, so be sure to bring your slippers! The stairs inside, and the stairs on the deck are very steep. NOT a deal breaker at all, but if someone has knee issues, this is something to consider. The concrete steps leading to the front door are not as steep and much easier to use. ARRIVAL TIP: Go in and unlock the downstairs sliding glass door. Then, instead of carrying everything up the front steps, and down the steep stairs that go to the bedrooms - open the gate between the house and garage structure. The gate opens into the patio area where you can carry luggage in the downstairs bedrooms from the driveway on level ground - no stairs required.

Negative: The house has three queen-sized beds. All of the mattresses are the kind that are super thick, and SOFT that you sink down into. Some people love this style mattress. This is my ONLY complaint, and possibly just a personal preference. I like a FIRM, supportive bed, and the house does not have one. I tried two different beds the first two nights and got almost no sleep. The last two nights I curled up on the nice firm couch and slept really well. Again, NOT a deal breaker if you like sleeping on a nice soft cloud of a mattress. If you know that you need something FIRM to sleep on however, this might not be the right rental home for you. Just something to consider. The incredible view was almost enough to make me forget I was sleep deprived. I am very glad that we stayed here. I loved the experience.

Positive: Hot tub was excellent! Best jets ever. The kitchen had enough of the small spices for cooking. They even has coffee. Lots of small things that makes staying there very pleaset. Loved all the house plants!
