Summary: We spent one week in this beautiful spot. Our group varied on age from 9 to 85 and everyone had fun. Staff (Bartolo and Rocio) we’re very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to avoid crowds and enjoy nature (You will need a car if you plan on visiting the town). The house is right in the jungle so we were able to see monkeys hanging from the trees and lots of different birds. All the bedrooms had a beautiful view of the jungle or the lake. The house had everything we needed to have fun and stay safe in the water like life jackets, kayaks and paddle boards. The lake has warm clear water that makes it easy to spend the day.

Summary: We spent two wonderful nights at this unique hidden gem. Sally was very helpful and answered all our questions in a timely period. The house is ideal for large family or friends with plenty of space. We did the chef for breakfast and lunch excellent food experience. This was at a reasonable cost. Would recommend that you explore this experience. especially if you arrive late at night as the town Bacalar is a good distance away. We didn’t manage to find a good local grocery for the essentials that we would have liked. The weather is good with a light breeze. Would highly recommend that you do a boat tour of the lake and include the rapids. We did an afternoon that included sunset a Memorable trip.
