Positive: The cottage itself was lovely, nice decor, very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed...we are a family who like to stay in and cook and found everything we needed. The location was exceptional, a short walk to the beach, with all it's available activities and cafes, and also a short walk onto beautiful sections of the coast path and Pentewan cycle trail. Nearby we explored Mevagissey, Lost Gardens of Heligan, as well as drives out along the coast as far as St Mawes and Looe.

Negative: check-in was very late and check-out very early, we would have been happy with this if the level.of cleaning was exceptional, but this was not the case. All bedrooms needed much more attention and a good dust and vac in all areas. In the kitchen some of the pans and dishes were also very greasy and in need of a deep clean, to which end we had to buy products from the supermarket. Also, the instructions said there was recycling available, but the indicated bags could not be found...the neighbours said that the previous occupants had asked the exact same thing. We do our best to recycle as much as possible and had to take a lot home with us. The bin lid was broken and as such fell off a lot and was very annoying, this really needs replacing or repairing properly.
