Positive: We are very happy with our stay in Mattina apartment. I would even say it is better than the pictures in Booking. Extremely clean apartment, stocked with everything you need for your stay. There were extra towels, shower gel and shampoo, beach towels and umbеrellas. Also there was water, juice, beer, snacks, chips, and fruit when we arrived. The hosts took care of absolutely everything, for an incredible stay. Parking space is provided. The owners live on the upper floor of the house. About Atsipopoulo - there is a supermarket and pharmacy in the town and it is close to Rethymno (15 min. by car). Crete is piece of paradise and thank you for our wonderful stay, you made our experience on the island even better.

Negative: The shower cabin was a bit small and uncomfortable.

Positive: The appartment was exaxtly as described, spacious, comfortable and very very clean. Upon arrival we found a platter with fresh fruits and one with pastries which was so thoughtful. We were also provided with orange juice, mineral water, beers etc. It had everything we would need, plus some. For example it has a little emergency kit, a sewing kit, period pads, toothpaste, deodorant etc. The Netflix addition was amazing for a first night, since we were very tired after traveling and needed a chill night. PLUS the yard was amazing. A beautiful garden that we got to enjoy every night after returning from our day excursions, with some wine and local cheese. The neighborhood is cozy and quiet. The plase is very close to Rethymno, an easy 15 minutes drive tops. Close to the appartment is Atsipopoulo's square with options for breakfast, coffee, food, super market. Also a Lidl is very close. The entance was very easy. The owner provided photos of exactly where I would find the keys of the parking spot (which by the way is a huge plus in the area) and how I could enter. After we parked the appartment keys where at the door. The hosts were very kind and easy to correspond with. Fast and prompt with their replies and extremely hospitable. We loved our stay and we would sure stay there again when we return to Rethymno.

Summary: Absolutely amazing! One of the best hosts we ever had.

Positive: Mattina Apartments is well equipped with all we needed for a comfortable stay. It has secure off street parking, and nice indoor outdoor flow. The hosts George, Mattina and their daughter are very thoughtful, and we particularly appreciated the extra effort they put into making their guests feel welcomed and taken care of. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Rethymno.
