Negative: It's a bit further out, but nothing a healthiness 10 to 15 minutes walk can fix to go downtown Zermatt.

Positive: We enjoyed a wonderful time at Matthiol. The breakfast buffet is exceptional and fueled us with the needed energy for a head start into our skiing days. We also valued the uncomplicated refreshment service on our departure day, as well as the timely and uncomplicated taxi shuttle to and from the train station which gave us peace of mind with our luggage. We will be back!
Negative: The Matthiol hotel is located at the very back end of the village and great when u look for a calmer place, however may feel a bit burdensome when going out.

Positive: Loved everything about it, rooms were lovely, great breakfast and spa area. Location was 20min walk from centre but we like that as very quiet and chilled. Great location to access hikes. Staff were great.
