Positive: Stayed as a group of 2 friends. Having a bedroom each and 2 toilets and showers was great. Apartment was clean. Location was great for what we've needed, close to Metro B line. Supermarket across the road, loads of places nearby for a coffee and takeaways.

Negative: We stayed for 2 nights and travelled light, having a washing machine was a bonus. Thanks to previous reviews I knew no detergents were provided so brought my own for the dishwasher and washing machine. Apartment is facing a busy road, could be noisy if bedroom windows are open.

Positive: Comfortable and modern apartment, lots of room and two bathrooms was a bonus. Not in a touristy part of town, which was good for us, and plenty of amenities nearby.

Negative: Host assumed we were after an escape room experience rather than a room for the night. It took us two hours from arriving on the street to getting in the door, including waiting for the keybox code, being sent the building number rather than the apartment number, and the host suddenly going offline and stopping all response to messages. We had even read the reviews here relating similar experiences and had asked the host in advance to be very specific with access instructions. This was ignored. To be clear: when you book this apartment, you will be sent a variety of pictures and cryptic responses to questions rather than an actual address. We had to guess which one the apartment was by dint of trying our keys in the locks of other apartments. Once we were in the door the apartment was fine, notwithstanding complete lack of wifi and also no linen left out for the sofa bed, despite a specific request.

Summary: It's just too hard - don't waste your time

Positive: Exactly as shown in pictures!

Negative: The check in took a couple of hours - finding the place (booking.com address is different than that mentioned in check in procedure which was shared last minute) , and also finding parking. Paid extra for parking. Latch broken for 1 of the bathroom doors.

Positive: Location. Easily accessible to all the tourist places via metro and bus. Colloseum can be reached via metro from periamedo metro station and major excursions can be reached via bus no 23 which is just outside the apartment. However once you get down via bus at one point all excursions are in 15-20 walkable distance. Good restaurants- pizza luigi worth a try , groceries store and gelato shop outside opposite road of apartment.

Negative: No dishwasher and washing machine tables provided ,kitchen has limited cutlery. One room didn’t had ac so we have to use living room for sleeping which has ac. it’s not luxury boutique apartment but overall good apartment.

Positive: I liked the space. It was very open

Negative: There was no microwave or fan as advertised and the ac unit in the main living space didn't seem to work well. There also wasn't any laundry or dish detergent.

Positive: Il Principe is spacious, clean, well appointed and close to everything we needed! Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (2 daughters) is an added bonus. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage and start our sightseeing!

Negative: Il Principe is on the corner of a very busy intersection where horns blare all the time. However, once we put the shutters down at night, they created a good sound barrier!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Il Principe.
