Positive: The place is amazing, the staff is super nice, our experience was flawless. Food is great we tried both breakfast and the dinner. It looks like all the facilities have been recently renovated. All the staff is young and very welcoming. We'll definitely come back if we are close to Taranto!

Positive: Nice, clean, pristine and peacefull place. Nice clean pool, and friendly staff.

Negative: A small glitch regarding the restaurant, that was closed on a Saturday, which ment I had to drive to nearby village for dinner… Apart from that, everything was fine.

Positive: Friendly staff, layout & architecture, local produce, a view & a restaurant on site for the evening meal. Breakfast was good with homemade pastries adding a special touch. Option of a swimming pool if we had had been time!

Negative: Room temperature seemed a bit too warm after a sunny day. Limited menu choice in the evening, especially for vegetarians although they did try to accommodate.

Summary: Excellent accommodation for an intermediate stop.

Positive: The masseria is in a perfect location to explore the center of Puglia. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Deborah and Virgilia who are responsible for guest relations. And the director, Andrea and his lovely wife whose family owns the Masseria couldn’t be nicer. The rooms are beautiful. We had a slight problem in our room and they moved us right away to another beautiful room. The views from the masseria are stunning besides the olive orchards, they also have some fruit trees and adorable donkeys. Their farm is a bio-agriturismo , no pesticides are used. Every morning we were greeted in the breakfast room by the lovely Liana who made sure we had everything we needed and in addition to the pastries, cakes, bacon, cheese yogurt, and fresh fruit, Liana made us delicious eggs and coffee to order. She also suggested great places to buy fruit, cheese, and taralli in the nearby town of Palagiano. The shopkeepers are lovely and care so deeply for their local cheeses and produce. Deborah and Virgilia gave us a list of suggestions for restaurants in the area which we tried three from the list and they were all great. We especially liked La Barchetta in Castellaneta Marina and Sale e Sarde in Castellaneta. We also had a delicious 4-course meal at the restaurant at the masseria. We told them ahead of time our dietary restrictions, which they lovingly accommodated. They have an excellent wine list and every dish was beautifully cooked and presented. Don’t leave without purchasing their orange, mandarin, lemon or peperoncino-flavoured olive oils from their own organic olives. We will definitely stay there again to try out their pool and spa.

Negative: The only issue we had, which they are already taking care of, is that it was difficult to control the light penetrating the rooms in the morning. They definitely need some blackout shade for the front doors, which they have already ordered, and to give the guests the ability to turn off the outside light in front of the door. They did turn off that outdoor light for us because we are the type who like to sleep in a dark room. It didn’t ruin our stay at all.
