Positive: As soon as you enter the gate you start feeling the apulian experience, made of warmth, peace and energy, through the power of the olive trees, the color of the stones, the shape of the typical ‘Trullo’ building. The rooms are not too big, but big enough for a comfortable stay that is enriched by a wonderful pool, where you can forget all your problems and just relax. The structure is located far from the noise and caos of the typical villages, like, Mesagne, Oria, Carovigno, Ostuni, but you can decide to visit them within a short drive. Same for the most beautiful beaches of Salento: both Ionian coast and Adriatic coast can be reached in 20-40 mins drive. Marilena and Carmine are the creators of this paradise and thank to them you can feel at home, taste the delicious foods of the South of Italy, breathe the kindness and honesty of true human relationships. If you stay at Masseria Cortese, you cannot miss the romantic dinner in the inner courtyard, where you will be delighted by the sweetness of Marilena and the preparations of Carmine with local products.

Positive: This Masseria is an oasis of peace! The olive groves, the trulli and rest of the property are stunning and the care in every detail of the decor, gorgeous pool, rooms and services absolutely one of a kind. We travel every summer to a calm location to unwind and this was the best we’ve been to. Marilena and Carmine are the most attentive, genuine, sweet hosts. You’ll be able to enjoy a breakfast with local produce as well as lunch and dinner on request. Carmine is an amazing cook and most of the food is sourced from their vegetable garden, making it a true Italian experience where each ingredient is remarkable (I’m from Italy) and truly appreciate great food! They also produce oil and have local wine and artisanal objects to purchase. If you’re an animal lover you’ll also enjoy their cats and wonderful dog! Couldn’t recommend more!

Positive: The property is very clean and beautiful. An oase of peace from the second you enter. Every piece of decoration is beautifully placed. Everything was perfect.

Positive: Amazing stay! Curated in every detail and the hosts make sure you are perfectly taken care of in every moment. We even got a flat tire and they helped us to replace it and recommended a tire dealer of trust nearby. The meals were all made from local produce and presented with love and care. We will definitely go back during the summer to enjoy the amazing pool as well!

Positive: The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice including delicious bread, home made preserves and yogurt. The owners were also very accommodating with our late arrival which we really appreciated.

Negative: I didn't like that our stay was so short, one night, we would have liked to have had time to enjoy the beautiful property, especially the pool.

Summary: Our stay was magical, it was the first night of our adventure in Italy. We hope to return one day..
