Summary: The Marsh Hotel is a small hotel in a residential neighborhood. I was allowed a very early check in. The room was clean , well equipped and functional. The main reception area also serves as a coffee shop and bar. People who demand luxurious amenities will be disappointed but The Marsh Hotel provides nice rooms so let NOLA provide the excitement

Summary: The front desk/cafe staff were the nicest and most helpful of any hotel I’ve been to! The woman working there in the morning gave a list of her favorite spots in the city and lots of local history and lore when I asked her for suggestions. The man who took my call to make reservation changes couldn’t have been easier to talk to and was so accommodating. The king room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the water in the room and in the cafe/lobby. Great garden patio to relax in. Only one drawback was the double room we also got for our son smelled musty. The staff were kind in switching his room.

Summary: Fire alarm in just my room went off in the middle of the night and had to go downstairs and search for someone who eventually took it off the wall. Then no hot water in the morning. Room was charming, just didn’t sleep or shower well.

Summary: Tory was absolutely delightful and was available all weekend. We locked our keys in the room and she rescued us immediately! Coffee and bar drinks were excellent too. Room was clean and up to date! Only complaint I have is the window needs a blackout shade behind the shutters. Too bright to sleep!
