Positive: The location is very central, close to the main railway station, but not on a busy street itself. There is a bakery directly opposite. The views to the basilica really are magnificent. The flat was spotless; and was spacious for one guest and would be quite comfortable for a couple. The food-preparation options were modest but fine for usual simple tourist-food prep (e.g., fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, pasta, etc). I couldn't initially find the cups/glasses but the host replied promptly to my question (they are above the stove fan). The wifi was excellent. The lounge area was comfortable; and the flat was light and airy.

Negative: This is one of the two top flats in a complex, with a common stairwell/lift, and a light system on a timer. It felt quite isolated on my arrival which was late at night - trying to negotiate the padlock combination with the corridor light blinking off was a bit tricky, and it took several atttempts to work it out - but I texted the host when having difficulties and they replied extremely promptly (within seconds). I also noted in the listing that there was cctv in the complex. The street itself is not particularly salubrious (graffiti on walls, concrete sidewalks) but it was very similar to other streets in the area and having walked around the district it did not feel particularly unsafe at night - there was reasonable street lighting - and it was a lot quieter than the main roads (less than 200m to two main roads). Pillows - there were two cushion-style pillows rather than conventional pillows. Tea-making facilities - there were four coffee capsules, and an excellent kettle and coffee-machine, but no tea, and no milk sachets or similar, which for a traveller arriving late meant I couldn't make myself a cup of tea (I left some peppermint teabags for the next visitor).

Positive: The apartment is in very good condition, nice decorated and furnished. The view from the terasse is amazing. In short the appartment is 10/10 for me.

Negative: The flat itself doesn’t lack anything in my opinion. One little downfall in my opinion was the owner communication which sounds suspicious and patronizing at times. Nothing major, but the customer experience could be improved on that part.

Positive: Absolutely spotless clean. Good supply of towels for the weekend. Coffee machine with capsules was a plus! Only a couple of minutes walk to Castellane metro to get in to the port area where there were better options for restaurants. Worked well for foinf to the orange metro dome for a rugby game.

Negative: We liked everything about the apartment a d would definitely stay again for a game.

Summary: Very clean and comfortable accommodation.

Positive: Good location for everything you need The view from the private balcony is the best feature offering a stunning view. A great place to sit outside in the warmer weather Good WiFi Good TV Air conditioning

Negative: Pillows are terrible. Only 1 each and the quality doesn't reconcile with the rest of the apartment. It would be beneficial to have more bed linen. Only 1 tea towel and 2 bathroom towels per person provided. Not enough for 5 days. The bathroom has no extractor fan for ventilation. So after a shower the walls stay wet a long time and toilet aromas hang about way too long

Positive: Location is excellent near metro and bus stations and also easily walkable distance to the city center. The apartment is well equipped fully furnished and the balcony terrace is amazing with great view on both side!

Negative: Would appreciate to have extra towels at least 2 towels per guest (extra one for hair) and shower amenities maybe. Also a plus will be to have balcony sandals for guests!
