Positive: The location is a humble, quiet and clean residential area, making one to feel as a local. Plenty of free parking spots in front of the house. You can get to all the most famous coast places in Côte d'Opale within 15 min drive. The place is cozy and rightly fitted to spend intimate time with family or very closed friends. It is super clean, organized and it has been recently renovated. It is well equipped for one big family (parents + 3-4 children of any age or 2 grand parents + parents +1-2 children). It has a little garden to spend time and take some air and sun when the weather is good. The place counts with a drawer full of books and toys for children of 1-3+ years). This is something super appreciated by us, specially for 27 months old son. We visited in beginning of March, it was sunny, but still cold (around 1-2°C in night/8-10°C during the day) and the house remained warm and cozy.

Negative: This is really fine tunning and I'm talking as an specialist in the field, so don't take it so seriously, but is worth to make the point. I would have liked to have some sound insulation in the rooms, because the upper floor is fully made in wood, but is doesn't have the right finishings in floors, walls and doors to prevent airborne sound transmission. This produce that one can hear relatively clear even a low level noise, like a bed conversation, a video in the minimum volume or a soft snot sniffing from one room to the other with closed doors. A normal conversation in another room or somebody preparing the table in the kitchen is loud and clear from the rooms. This make me think about the suitability of this place to spend time here between two families or friends.
