Positive: A stunning property, inside & out. You arrive into the outdoor space & are immediately blown away. The pool was larger than expected from the photos & we all enjoyed this feature. Well maintained & during our August stay, the water temperature was perfect. There are facilities to dine outdoors & we loved to relax in the upstairs area. The perfect spot to look out to the sea & watch the sunrise. The whole outdoor space felt very peaceful & private. Inside the house is spacious & modern but still feels traditional. The bathrooms are fabulous & the beds so comfortable. We made use of the washing machine & kitchen facilities. The fridge seemed plenty big enough for our family of four. The air con was perfect. There’s a lot of essentials provided, including products to use the dish washer & washing machine & basic condiments. The coffee machine & pods were a welcome addition, as was the bottled water & fruit that we arrived to. The house is located on the edge of a village, away from the busier town of Kamari but it was within walking distance, so long as you don’t mind a decent stroll. We loved Kamari beach & the relaxed pace. We hired a car for the latter half of our trip & travelled around the island but I think you could maybe do this easily on the buses too. You can’t see the sunset from this location but this comes with the benefit of avoiding the hustle & bustle from all those arriving on cruise ships. We took trips very easily to places like Oia, Fira, the red beach & Imerovigli which I would recommend to watch the sunset without the crowds-so beautiful! The outdoor cinema was brilliant-walking distance & Mamma Mia was even enjoyed by our 15 year old son. The property is surrounded by wineries & a brewery & behind the house, there is a restaurant that is run by a lovely chap. He runs the place alone with a limited but traditional menu. We would certainly recommend.
Negative: As explained in a previous review, there are limited cooking facilities with two hob rings, a toaster & a kettle. We still managed to make meals but it limits options.
Summary: A stunning place to stay in beautiful Santorini. You won’t want to leave!

Positive: Every single this was top quality; the finest materials and fittings in the property; the finest of towels, sheets, etc. meant this was probably the best place we have ever stayed.
Negative: Minor issues…could do with a freezer and more shaded areas but was still a great stay.
Summary: …probably the best place we have ever stayed.

Positive: A beautiful minimalist Greek house with wide open spaces and fantastic private facilities. Gorgeous entrance leading into a lush pool and patio area. Pink flower tree and overall outside decor was picture perfect. Great roof-top lounge, terrace and sun loungers. Large and comfortable living and dining area with fresh fruit awaiting our stay. Open plan living room and guest bedroom. Snug kitchen and utility with good applicants. Open doors all around house allowing easy access into kitchen, living room and bedroom. The best part was the master bedroom with wonderful open plan bathroom. Super comfy beds with more than enough plug points all around property. Bright Hollywood lights around two separate sinks and grand shower. Bathroom extras include shampoo, body wash, hand soap and moisturiser. Decorative lights around the property, especially in the patio area really set the mood for those cosy evenings. Soft blankets and playing cards were a lovely touch too. House was super central in that you were at the half-way-point of Santorini. Buses were accessible right at the end of the road outside of the Santorini Brewing Company. Buses were all cash only at €1.60 on average. Bus journeys included a 5 minute drive to Kamari, 15 minutes to Fira and 25 to Oia with a change. During our stay, we dined finely at Metaxi Mas which was superb (reservation suggestion) and experienced real home cooking at Chatiri at Kostas. The choice of vineyards around Marousi is endless, but we dined at Aroma Avlis little further down the road. We recommend jumping on the bus to Mesaria and doing your weekly shop in a supermarket called Sklavenitis, where you’ll find some fresh fruit and vegetables, alongside freshly cut cheeses and meats. Also, we highly recommend the Open Air Cinema for €10 each (cash only) which is a 15 minute walk away. Niki’s communication was faultless and even organised reservations, transfers and checked on us half way though our stay.
Negative: We would like to suggest adding more bath and pool towels for the duration of the stay. The ‘dishwasher and washing machine guide’ wasn’t particularly clear in both direction and it’s accessibility. For further build, we suggest changing the terrace ‘seating area’ for another set of sun loungers as I believe if you stayed as a two couples, it would be awkward. We didn’t use the lounge seating area once. Kitchen extras would include a lighter, anti-bacterial spray for work services and extra tea towels as one for the week was a challenge. It was our mistake not to recognise that there wasn’t a microwave or oven, so maybe something to consider in the future. These are of course minor improvements in our opinion and does not reflect the amazing time we had!
Summary: A beautiful minimalist Greek house
