Positive: Our apartment was amazing, it had everything we needed and it was incredibly clean. The host Marijana was fantastic, she met us at the property to sort the keys and we were greeted with a drink and snack. Marijana also let us know of a lot of useful local information and sites to see, she was easily available through WhatsApp during the stay too. The location was perfect, we were an 8 minute walk from the Old Town and just a few minutes walk from a main road with lots of buses

Positive: This was an apartment and no breakfast was provided but there was an espresso machine and pods to make espresso as well as some other generous provisions. The hostess met us shortly after arrival, showed us around and gave instructions and some suggestions for dining out nearby for two hungry, tired new guests. She checked in during our stay and saw us off at our leave taking. She was a delightful help in our visit. There was a pretty little outdoor swim pool onsite with an outdoor full shower in a pretty courtyard, a lovely view out our apartment and off the included balcony with dining table and chairs, and a provided drying rack and an in apartment clothes washer.

Negative: There are a lot of stairs to access the apartment, a couple of flights of outdoor stone steps with iron (hot in summer heat) hand rails, and then more stairs inside the entry gate and then another flight up to our apartment indoors. This was a little daunting for an elder, tired guest, in the heat. And one more flight up to use the swimming pool. But I decided it was worth it, but should be considered for those considering a stay. It is also uphill from the old city area of Dubrovnik. A taxi can take one to the bottom of outdoor stairs and it is walkable from the old city and other sites but its a substantial walk. There is one good restaurant a few blocks downhill but only serves full meals at dinner and one coffee house nearby.

Summary: Loved the apartment and the host. Pretty setting but kinda far from major tourist sites

Positive: What an amazing host is Marijana. We were greeted with a drink and cake. She had helpful tips regarding restaurants, bars. The place was spotless. Nothing was to much trouble.

Negative: Everything was great. A lot of steps up to the apartment. May not suit someone with mobility issues.

Positive: The apartment was spotless. The location was wonderful, just a short walk to the old town. The apartment itself was so spacious with everything you could possibly need and more. The apartment was so spacious, with a beautiful wrap around balcony and view. Marijana, the owner is nothing short of brilliant. Her hospitality upon arrival with cold drinks and fresh cake whilst she explained nearby amenities, to her continuous help whenever required for suggestions for food or places to visit. The apartment exceeded our expectations and the pictures don’t do it the justice it deserves! The communal pool and lounge area is lovely and such a treat in the heat, it feels very private and is very comfortable.

Negative: Nothing. There are comments about the amount of stairs. This is just Dubrovnik and there are a lot so just be mindful if you aren’t able to carry your bags very well or would struggle with stairs.

Summary: Fantastic apartment that will exceed your expectations. Can’t wait to return and stay again :)

Positive: Marijana was the best host. She arranged the taxi from the airport and was waiting for us at the apartment. We were welcomed with drinks and pastries. She was on site a few times during our weeks stay making sure we had everything we needed. She was there when we left and arranged a taxi back to the airport. We have never been so well looked after in a self catering apartment on holiday before. Thank-you Marijana.
