Positive: We booked and arrived the same day! Everything was perfect, the cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the location and grounds were simply stunning. Our hosts were very welcoming when we arrived and then unobtrusive during our stay, striking a perfect balance. This is a beautiful and historic place, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Positive: Very peaceful location. Well equipped and cared for property. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Negative: Quite a lot of the local roads were narrow country lanes which took some getting used to. Weather wasn't wonderful. BUT neither could be helped and didn't spoil our stay.

Positive: Just perfect. In every way. Vicki & Dom were the perfect hosts (and their dogs). If you want to relax in a peaceful location this is it. Walking is close to Lopwell Dam which is at the bottom of the hill. A slow walk uphill via the coach road is a must. Get back to the cottage and chill on the terrace with a cuppa or later with a glass of wine. The gardens are accessible to us too, very beautiful with all the rhododendrons out and the birds singing. All very relaxing.

Negative: For a nervous driver there are some single track roads to approach the property but not too bad. WiFi is weak but I was fine with that. Apart from that ALL GOOD 😊
