Positive: Marina House is in a spectacular location. Belleek is delightful. The garden is amazing and it overlooks the marina...bonus! Relaxing in the conservatory is highly recommended. The house in general is comfortable.

Negative: Marina House is lovely but could do with a little tlc. The bed in the ensuite bedroom is very small and the ensuite shower is very cramped. The bed linen and towels need upgrading. Only one bath towel per person for a 5 night stay seems rather inadequate. Also, there was only one hand towel between 4 people. This is definitely not enough.

Positive: The property was in a delightful location , wonderful scenery, peaceful and calm. The Conservatory was brilliant, a little bit of sunshine and the warmth followed swiftly behind. Close enough to the town and far enough for any rowdiness (if there had been ) as the pubs closed. The Lemon Tree is the best place to eat in Belleek. Food cooked to perfection and served with a smile.

Negative: Was extremely disappointed to discover that no hand-wash or soap was provided in the bathroom or en suite. In addition there was only one toilet roll in the bathroom and en suite. This wasn’t the case the last time we stayed. The kitchen equipment was very much lacking. It would have been very hard to prepare a meal. There was no starter pack which was a great shame. A bottle of milk, coffee/tea and biscuits doesn’t cost much but would be a good welcome gesture. Didn’t use the dishcloth or tea towels as they were a bit grubby looking. Didn’t use the fire as afraid to use the wrong kind of fuel as described in the welcome pack. It would have been better to have left a sample of what was acceptable to use.

Summary: We love Belleek so it goes without saying that we will be back to this lovely property.
