Positive: The best thing is the balcony overlooking the lake. The bedrooms are spacious, the combined living room and kitchen is a little cramped. The apartment is clean, although a little worn. Bellano is a more quiet town than for example Varenna, which for us was a good thing.

Negative: The location is very close to the railway station, however the keys must be both picked up and left at a storage facility 500 meters in the wrong direction. The bedrooms are towards the main street and railway. With the windows closed it's no big issue but if you want them open you might have problems sleeping because of the noise.

Positive: Fabulous location, right on the lake. Short walk down to the centre with ferry stop, nice cafes, small beach. Comfortable beds with 2 good sized bedrooms. Right by train station (with nice coffee!) - would recommend to leave someone with your bags here when you arrive as keys are a short walk the opposite direction to apartment. No need for a car so ideal for us. Fabulous to watch sun setting over the lake from the balcony! A couple of issues sorting by hosts - thank you.

Negative: A little noisy by the road but didn't wake our young children so no problem! Facilities are dated - no kettle (this is mentioned and no drama). Small living space but ok for 2 adults and 2 young children.

Negative: We booked in part because it was close to the train station but then you had to pick up the key in the opposite direction. Not that far but inconvenient for train users.

Positive: The most beautiful view we have ever had from a hotel/apartment! Everything spotlessly clean and the apartment was really comfortable. Underground parking is a massive bonus, especially in the heat of summer. The communication was excellent and the detailed check-in instructions really helped.

Positive: Amazing location and views. Good size apartment. Comfortable beds. Overall we loved it.

Negative: If traffic noise bothers you, this place is not for you as the bedrooms open to the main road through town. Decor is a bit tired and could be modernised to make it more value for money. The kettle was missing, but no big deal.
