Positive: The apartment is nice, however pretty outdated. It must have been wonderful 20-30 years ago. It really needs some upgrades. However, the location and the private beach are fantastic! If you are looking for a place just to sleep, at a good location with nice beach on a good price than this place is perfect, however be prepared for the following: no air condition in every room, noisy doors, uncomfortable beds, difficulties flushing the toilets. We also had some issues at the beggining with check-in time, the keys and some things were not explained/showed to us by the lady who let us in. At the beginning the customer service was horrible, the style they used with us was unacceptable. But eventually the owner became nicer, and kinder and helped us with the issues.

Negative: Location, private beach.

Summary: Great location, beautiful private beach, outdated apartment.

Positive: The host was an incredibly nice lady who told us about the neighborhood and helped with everything we asked. The view from the balcony was magnificent, as were the neighbors too. There are many, big rooms so the house can accommodate many people at once, great for families:) There is also a bus stop nearby but I would advise everyone to use cars because that is way easier than public transport in Sicily.

Negative: Many restaurants and shops were closed, but that's solely because we visited during winter. We had a little problem with the warm water and the toilet but those were also caused by the cold weather and the host helped asap.

Positive: We spent 8 days in the villa. The location is excellent as it is close to Catania, Taormina, Siracusa… Near to very good beaches, the highway to Palermo and Cefalú, and the airport. The private condominium is very quit and safe. There are a lot of services near (supermarkets, gas stations, lidos, etc.) The house is spacious and very comfortable. Ideal for families. Totally recommendable. We would repeat without a doubt.

Negative: We miss a microwave :)

Summary: Ideal for families, as a base to visit all of Sicily in a quiet environment.
