Positive: The villa is located only minutes from the sea (no need to lug a beach bag, just grab a towel and go!). The property itself is well equipped with comfortable beds with air con, two lovely sun terraces and a plunge pool, which is like getting into a bath at the end of the day! They have a bookcase full of adult and kids books, along with a range of board games too, which is great for the kids. Enough restaurants to choose from within minutes of the property and two larger supermarkets about 20-25 minutes away and a smaller convenience shop a 5 minute walk away. You can walk to the nearby resorts Gouves and Kokkini Hani or get the bus to Heraklion. Crete aquarium and the dinosaur park are within walking distance too.

Negative: None, it’s one of the best we’ve stayed in.

Summary: Overall, this is a fab Villa and we’d definitely recommend to families.

Positive: This villa was of the best we've ever stayed in, literally. It's beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean with every home comfort you could ask for from a washing machine to a full sized fridge and oven. It's right opposite a lovely beach and if you're not up for that, the villa has its own splash pool, beautifully lit for evening dips. Loads to do in the area and close to Heraklion airport.

Negative: Nothing could have been any better, everything was perfect.

Summary: We had the best stay at Maria Irini Villa! We'll definitely be back!
