Positive: The property was much bigger than I imagined. It was very quiet, bright, clean and toiletries and kitchen cleaning products were provided. A few minutes walk from St Albans City overground station. The host was responsive

Negative: No dishwasher and how to operate the heater was difficult to figure out. A manual would have been useful. Also the parking permit was not available which made me anxious about leaving my car in the parking lot

Summary: Fantastic stay. Would highly recommend this property

Positive: Good space and location. Host was helpful when we wanted to put heating on.

Negative: Tricky to put heating on and the water tank only was enough for 2 showers. The water boost didn’t heat the water quick enough so not all of us could shower in the mornings. Table leg fell off when we lifted it to be able to put the sofa beds out.

Positive: Owner was very accommodating to the changes we requested. Apartment was clean and spacious. Bed and lounge seating were comfortable.

Negative: Smell of damp in communal corridor and in apartment. Initial problem with parking space unavailable but rectified next day. Being ground floor by entrance, there were people sitting outside talking and smoking past midnight, as weather was hot we had windows open and noise and smoke coming into apartment was unpleasant. Bath plug didn’t work, 1 reading light not working and 1 bedside light not working.

Summary: Owing to personal circumstances we only stayed one night but with damp smell and nighttime noise and people smoking outs
