Positive: The house and the views on tea plantation are wonderful, the furniture and the decor are incredibly authentic! Everything is very clean and the place is comfortable. We appreciated the chance to chill and relax in the living room with a cup of tea kindly offered by the staff. The whole staff (from the manager to the chef) are extremely friendly and kind, they spolied us with free tea, coffee and delicious meals. I would definitely recommend staying there if you are going to visit nuwara Eliya area.

Positive: Manuel Manor was without a doubt one of the friendliest places we’ve ever stayed at. The entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and all staff members were extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful. A very special thanks goes to Maduvan, who went above and beyond to take care of us. I arrived with a fever, and he not only prepared a soothing tea but also arranged an inhalation and a massage to help me recover – truly exceptional care. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent, delicious, and lovingly prepared. You can really feel the heart behind everything they do. We can wholeheartedly recommend Manuel Manor and would love to come back anytime!

Positive: Manuel Manor is An extremely spacious 4 double bedroom expansive house with an Additional double room alongside. It is impeccably well looked after and ran by Mr Anton and his team who quite honestly are there to respond to your every requirement. This was explained when Mr Anton explained that he had over 30’years experience at The legendary Hill Club in Nuwara Eliya. Add to that it is in a spectacular spot with amazing views down the valley towards the Mahawelle Ganga.

Negative: That we couldn’t stay longer!

Positive: Beautiful villa and perfect for a family travelling through the highlands area. The service from Bosco, Premkunar, Mahadevan and Iroshan was exceptional and they were so friendly and helpful with everything. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef and the whole team. This was our favourite stay so far in Sri Lanka.

Negative: Only negative was WiFi which seems to be an issue in a lot of Sri Lankan villas

Positive: This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and what truly made it special was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to take such great care of us. The cook was fantastic, preparing incredible meals that we’ll never forget. The staff also helped us organize drivers and day trips, making our experience seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless, with immaculate rooms and facilities. The scenery and views were breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. This part of Sri Lanka is truly a must-see, and staying at this hotel made our visit even more remarkable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Manuel Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the staff are extremely attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and the food was absolutely spectacular. We loved having breakfast on the terrace enjoying yhe stunning the views! On one day when we left very early for a hike, the staff packed a separate breakfast for us and had it waiting at 5am. Huge thanks to all the staff who made our stay so comfortable!

Negative: There was a minor issue with the hot water during our stay but the staff quickly tried to fix this and offered us use of another bathroom so it wasn't a major issue.

Positive: Amazing location, away from the busyness of the main town areas, hence was a very serene place. The house was well equipped with everything and felt very cosy and just like home. The staff was very very helpful and they made our stay extra especial. The chef, serve staff and manager all were very accommodating to all our needs. Would definitely stay here again.
