Positive: I am absolutely amazed by the breakfast! It’s impressive how much effort our host put into preparing it for just two families. There was an outstanding variety of cakes, savory and sweet tartlets, homemade bread (loved it), cheeses - you name it. Everything is freshly made using ingredients from the garden and local products. Impressive! The hotel itself is also beautiful. It's a renovated 500 year old stone house. Absolutely not to be missed!

Positive: Everything was perfect. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. He made sure we could check in early, which was a huge help. The breakfast was truly exceptional, probably the best I’ve ever had! There was a large variety of options, and most of it was homemade, fresh, and delicious. The whole experience felt very personal and welcoming.

Positive: Didier was a kind, thoughtful and attentive host. In advance of our stay he contacted me to suggest putting an extra bed into large room, to accommodate our family of four in one room rather than needing to book two. It saved us money and also the hassle of managing the kids separately. The biggest luxury though was the incredible breakfast. In all my years of staying in B&Bs I have never had a better breakfast. It was all homemade and freshly prepared including fresh cakes, tarts and pancakes, enormous choice, and with so much attention to detail. We felt very well looked after. The house is lovely, with abundant parking a twenty second walk away, and we enjoyed both the pool in the garden, and a lovely swim in the nearby Lac de Bonnal. Thank you Didier and Rachel, I really do recommend Manoir Saint-Pierre!
