6000 square feet of farmhouse living. Ammenties include private suite, private patio, swimming pool and pool house, outdoor fireplace and organic gardens. We live in the old South so we endeavor to give our guests a taste of Southern culture.
We live on the premises.
The space
The guest suite is upstairs in the east wing of the house. Private suite includes 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and sitting/tv room. The space has a refrigerator and Keruig coffee maker as well as snacks. Guests are welcome to use our Family TV Room, Kitchen, Laundry Room. Also, there is a private patio with outdoor fireplace as well as the swimming pool. The pool is open from May 1 through October 1.
In the summer, there is a lot of mowing going on so we hope guests will forgive the occasional noise of mowers and trimmers.
Guest access
Guests enter through the main front door and a key is provided. The guest suite is directly upstairs.
Other things to note
Our home is on approximately 5 wooded acres with lots of privacy. We do not have neighbors nearby. It's very peaceful outdoors with wildlife and gardens.
We are currently listing more of our short term guests in the guest suite in our home. However, the carriage house available for our longer term guests.
There is a $100/night penalty for each guest that stays overnight without the owners approval. All reservations require a 2 night min stay.

Summary: The host was excellent - welcoming and attentive to any needs. The property and accommodations were beautiful. Was quiet and peaceful. The location was convenient. Restaurants, shopping, movie theater etc only a few minutes away. Great getaway!

Summary: We rented this suite for me to stay in after recovering from a medical procedure (have a toddler at home so needed somewhere other than home). Pamela, the host, has been nothing short of amazing and the suite has been fabulous!!! Perfect location, clean, cozy and plenty of space. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Madison area!

Summary: We were in Madison to celebrate several family functions. This was the perfect location - so convenient for all of our visits. The bedrooms are quite comfortable and private, separated by a nice sitting room. The two full bathrooms make it ideal. This is a gorgeous property, beautifully decorated. It is a very peaceful and lovely setting. Pamela is the perfect host and I wish our stay had been longer. She is so welcoming and considerate. You will enjoy many of her paintings hanging throughout, as she is a talented artist. It is easy to consider this listing as a home away from home!
