Positive: We had a very nice stay in this nice Homestay, which is so confortable and where we felt at home Mrs Lakshmi is a very friendly owner, she gave a lot of explanations to our driver who was never been in Hampi before. Thank you to the whole team!

Positive: I like staying in homestays because it allows us to meet and talk to Indian people. This more than makes up for the inevitable lack of facilities compared to a big hotel. This didn't happen at Mango Tree.

Negative: I think we were unlucky because the owner was away until our last day. Her daughter was in charge in her absence and she wasn't very good. She stayed in her own lounge and didn't even greet us. She was helpful when we asked her direct questions but wasn't proactive and didn't want to chat with us.

Positive: The place was awesome, staff was good, food was good

Negative: There was no way to communicate with staff or owner, no phone or landline or a bell. Everytime we have to walk downstairs to ask for anything. Tv was just a show piece no subscription no channels to watch. First encounter with the family of owner was not good, we are guest not tourist.
