Positive: The view from the chalet is simply breathtaking and having breakfast on the balcony was amazing! The location is great to explore the whole island. It is really quiet except when it's disco night at a hotel by the beach, but the noise level was alright. I would definitely recommend renting a car when staying here, as the drive up is exceptionally steep and may be challenging for less confident drivers, but the elevation makes the view even more gorgeous! There are also plenty of restaurants and takeaways by the beach, that are too far by foot but very close by car!

Negative: The chalet itself was fairly clean, only the dishes were rather dirty, which is something that can easily be fixed. One downside was the number of insects. Since it’s not possible to close all the windows, most lights had to be turned off after sunset. Because of the open windows there is also no AC, but the fan was working well, so it wasn't needed. The power was out the day I arrived, but it came back in the evening.

Positive: Everything! The location up there on the hills presents us with the greatest view to the sea and the island. The chalet where I stayed had plenty of space, was well equipped and the bed and pillows so comfortable! The breakfast has everything we need: a large variety of fruits, toasts, butter and jam, ham and cheese, coffee, milk, juice and cake. The price was very reasonable and affordable considering the Seychelles islands. And last but not least, Leslie, is the nicest and helpful person, that gives all the tips about tours and where to eat and buy, as well as helps you with your transfer for a reasonable price. Also the ladies preparing breakfast are very kind! I highly recommend it to individual, couple and families.

Positive: Mango Lodge was perfect for our stay! Incredible view, spacious room, lovely helpful staff, very well-equipped kitchen and everything you can need for a great stay! Short walk down hill to the beach, 3 supermarkets nearby and a couple restaurants. They also helped us arrange car hire for a day to explore the island, thank you!

Negative: The lodge is located up a steep hill from the bus stop but it is well worth it and we managed the walk up a couple times but was a lot easier with a car!
