Positive: Mangala was so friendly and welcoming. He made us a lovely meal and showed us around his gardens. The property had everything we needed and was clean. The facilities are basic but that was expected for the price. The dining earea is decorated beautifully and full of interesting things. Mangala made the stay extra special.

Positive: We wholeheartedly thank you for a wonderful time. The owner is a charming man with a big heart. He welcomed us with fruit from his garden and taught us how to eat mangoes with cane sugar. Mangale arranged transportation at a very good price to both the train station and to Pinnawala, the waterfalls, and other attractions. It's a place with wonderful energy, heart, and love for its people. Mangale loves children, people, and conversation. He's the sweetest man we met in Sri Lanka. We miss him already.

Every meal felt carefully prepared and full of flavor. The hospitality was warm and genuine. @Mangala was very friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel was safe and peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone who enjoys a calm and quiet environment, with great service and delicious food in Kurunegala area. Would definitely come back! Positive: Mangala is the sweetest host we had in a while! The neighborhood is quiet, sweet and very local, in the best way possible. We spontaneously arrived very early at night (5am), lost our key, got soaked in heavy Rain but Mangala took care of everything. The onion sambol omelette was the best omelette I had in Sri Lanka so far.
