Positive: Direct access to the nice sandy beach
Negative: First, water pressure for shower is a big problem for full occupancy, water stops in the middle of my shower and won’t resume until the rest of the guest in is done showering. But the worse problem was the staff attitude. The check-in manager and kitchen manager were unfriendly almost unwelcoming. Instead of coming to us in person to collect ID, they whatsapp me to do their job, and we are big group, and most of the time always in the resort swimming or hanging by the restaurant, when they see me in person on the last night I told them to collect per room instead since everyone is here, they RAISED their voice at me saying they asked twice but not given when it was all done via whatsapp. They see us everyday in person but never asked in person until that very last night. Very unprofessional and rude. Also, the discrimination in treatment made me uncomfortable. Kitchen chef was not ready to serve the breakfast at 7 because they need to prepare at 5am for another guest who is gone for surfing but when I request for breakfast to be on time at 7 since I need to leave for my diving trip it was refused saying it was troublesome which does not make sense at all. The foreigner guest was also attended to first when I was clearly there first, even making that other guest uncomfortable who kindly let me be served first.
Summary: nice property but not suitable for local travelers who wants the service for the value they pay.

Positive: Beautifully located at a wonderful beach (sunset side), pretty rooms, great pool, Eduardo (owner) gave good help/recommendation for surfing
Negative: Restaurant (one waitress almost didn't speak English so Communication was hard, lots of misunderstandings, also breakfast didn't have consistency (sometimes bad, sometimes alright))
Summary: Generally, we had a wonderful stay at Manduna with nice staff and a wonderful room etc. It was really just the restauran
