Summary: Ons huisje in Manderscheid bevalt ons goed! Het is ruim genoeg om met 6 volwassenen (of in ons geval 4 volw. en 2 kinderen) te vertoeven! Het huis is schoon, leuk gesitueerd en er zijn aardig wat speeltjes voor de Kids (lees steps/skelter/tafeltennis/schommels enz.). Er is ook een konijn en een paar kippen waar je heen kunt kijken....en t konijn Leo vindt het prima om geaaid te worden. De eigenaren van het vakantiehuis zijn zeer vriendelijk en accommoderen heel graag. De ligging van het huisje is lekker centraal in de vulkaneifel.... vanuit het dorp manderscheid ben je op de meeste locaties binnen een half uur tot max een uur. Het dorpje Manderscheid zelf is ook leuk om wat te verkennen, er ligt bijv. een hele mooie burcht op een steenworp afstand....en een paar leuke restaurantjes. Al met al de moeite waard om te bezoeken en te boeken!!

Summary: Wat een fantastisch huis! Drie verdiepingen, dus heel veel ruimte. Rustige ligging met een tuin waar onze kids zich konden uitleven (trampoline, schommel, trapveldje, pingpongtafel). Enige ‘nadeel’: als je buiten wilt eten moet je met je spullen ‘slepen’ omdat de keuken op de eerste verdieping is. Maar dit is dan ook het enige ‘nadeel’. De eigenaren zijn heel aardig. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor leuke tripjes. Een echte aanrader is het Gemündener Maar. Hier kun je fantastisch zwemmen en trapfietsen huren met een glijbaan erop. Onze jongens vonden het fantastisch! Ook de leuke steden zoals Daun, Gerolstein, Cochem en Trier liggen op ongeveer een half uur rijden. De Penny (supermarkt) ligt op 2 minuten rijden, dus iedere morgen lekkere verse broodjes :-). Dit huis is ons heel erg goed bevallen en wij raden het dus ook voor 200% aan. Als we nog een keer terug gaan naar de Vulkaneifel willen we graag weer hier onze vakantie verbrengen.

Summary: De accommodatie is uitstekend en goed uitgerust. De eigenaren wonen op hetzelfde terrein en zijn zeer vriendelijk. Ook buiten het seizoen is de Eifel geweldig. Manderscheid beschikt over twee kastelen uit de middeleeuwen. Je bent lopend binnen enkele minuten in de prachtige natuur waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen over diverse routes.

Summary: Gerberhaus is a very fine house in the center of the village of Manderscheid. So you reach various faciliteiten.De owners are very friendly and helpful and also gave tips for trips. We have worked with 3 teenage sons enjoyed. The week was too short so maybe a reason for terugkeer.Fam. Sterkenburg

Summary: For a family with children a wonderful house. Quiet area, not on a busy road but in the back of the owners. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything to cook, but nearby you can go out for dinner if you want. The garden is lovely. There is a possibility to bbq "and. There grow various fruits to enjoy, such as blackberries, mulberries, gooseberries, nuts, raspberries, etc. These children the chickens, sheep or rabbit run or ride the donkey. Also the garden play equipment. It is of course fun for the kids to get acquainted with the children of the owners. When the weather is warm, you can close go swimming in one of the volcanic lakes. Unfortunately we had almost all the week of rain, but we have a good time. In Manderscheid are 2 castles to visit. In Daun you by car through a wildlife drive and watch the animals. In Daun is also fun shopping. We also have a beautiful abbey visited . And of course there is still more to do.
